Build your own synchronized blinking cat ears and make the IoC (Internet of Cats) a reality.
Cat ears must be worn in this area! :3
A small amount of Rudelblinken boards are prepared and available for the participants of this years CoSin!
The controller boards for the cat ears are based on an ESP32-C3. They communicate via BLE to synchronize their blinking with nearby cat ears. The software is based on a WASM platform.
All materials for the ears (3D print, PCB and LED strip) are provided. Bring an USB cable with a type C plug at one end and any portable power source.
Material cost is around 7 CHF, however if you want to support the project a voluntary donation of 10 CHF would be nice.
During the workshop time slot I will have time for you. But you can find my anytime during CoSin to get your ears. Calling CATS / 2287 on your DECT should also work.
Working at the department of precise perfection.

I write software in different languages, recently mostly Rust. And I am a big proponent of functional programming paradigms.
I really enjoy mathematics, with a strong interest in computer algebra algorithms.
And I like playing Go.
